Even Legends Die

I'm not sure if I did the legs correctly. I've never drawn an equine lying down before... Ah well. Critique away folks

I was thinking of the movie 'Legend' when the unicorn stallion's horn gets chopped off and he lays down in the snow as if in a deep sleep, the mare prancing around his body frantically... he wasn't dead... but he was in a sort of frigid stasis, as was the rest of the world.
Though, yeah... this unicorn here still has a horn, and he's obviously awake and looking around at things. *shrugs* Actually, if you want to know a secret: I didn't think of the Legend thing until I scanned the picture and had to think of a filename for it So, that's the way it goes.
The big dark rubber plant behind him looks rather predatory and evil. I don't like it one bit. (sure it's drawn alright, but I mean I don't like it. it looks really posessive and evil, as if it owns the unicorn.) Someone needs to get some weed-be-gone here.
