Fernjumper Takes a Stroll

Something I sketched up at work last night. I think it came out rather well... I do believe the anatomy lessons I've started giving myself are paying off already. (heh, lots of intense reading and looking at pictures, really.) Still not perfect, but getting better.
I wasn't going to add a background, (Canis do a background? cripes! what's next?!) but I still had a couple of hours left on my shift when I finished Good Sir Fernjumper, so I sketched an extraordinarily crappy and sloppy background. But, all in all, it looks okay, and adds a bit of depth.
Anyway, hope you like this.
Must go scan anatomy illustrations for soon. She's going to unceremoniously remove my head if I don't. Heh. Perhaps I should dedicate this pic to her, to lesson her wrath.
